FIH Women’s Hockey World Cup classification matches and semifinals — full schedule, venues, IST timings


The second round of the FIH Women’s World Cup 2026 has come to a close, with the four semifinalists having been confirmed.

Having finished in the top two of their respective pools, Netherlands, Belgium, Argentina, and Australia will now battle it out for World Cup glory.

India could only manage a third-place finish in its group alongside Netherlands, Australia, and China. It will now place Germany in a 5th-place classification match at the Wagener Stadium in Amstelveen.

13th/14th playoff – South Africa vs Ireland – Amstelveen – 1:00PM IST, August 27

15th/16th playoff – Chile vs New Zealand – Wavre – 2:30PM IST, August 27

11th/12th playoff – Japan vs Scotland – Amstelveen – 4:00PM IST, August 27

9th/10th playoff – England vs USA – Wavre – 5:30PM IST, August 27

5th/6th playoff – India vs Germany – Amstelveen – 6:30PM IST, August 27
