Indian women’s team went down 4-0 to Germany in the FIH Pro League 2024-25 match at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Friday.
Amelie Wortmann gave Germany the lead in the third minute. Fifteen minutes later, Sophia Schwabe made it 2-0. Schwabe (47th minute) and Johanna Hachenberg (59th minute) added two more for the visitor in the final quarter.
Salima Tete-led side is at the bottom of the nine-team table with four points in five matches. Germany is seventh with six points in seven games.
Later in the day, the Indian men’s team faces Ireland.
