NEW DELHI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah and Indian women’s cricket captain Harmanpreet Kaur unveiled Team India’s new ODI jersey at the BCCI Headquarters in Mumbai.
The new jersey will make its on-field debut with the women’s national team during the India-West Indies bilateral series, starting December 22. Following this, the men’s team will sport the jersey during the ICC Champions Trophy tournament early next year.
“It’s an honour to unveil the jersey today and I’m really happy that, you know, we are the first one who is going to wear this jersey against the West Indies team. Really happy. Really like the look. It’s looking really beautiful. And really happy that, you know, we have got a special ODI jersey,” Harmanpreet said in a video shared by BCCI on their X handle.
