The FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2026 will be held in Amstelveen and Wavre from August 15 to 30.
The 16 teams have secured their places through a combination of direct qualification and World Cup qualifying tournaments. The Netherlands and Belgium qualified automatically as co-hosts, while continental champions from Asia, the Americas, Africa and Europe also earned direct berths. The winners of the previous two FIH Pro League editions secured two more places.
With the two host nations among the direct entrants, nine teams qualified automatically, while the remaining seven booked their places through two FIH World Cup qualification events.

- England – World Cup qualifying tournament
- Japan – World Cup qualifying tournament
