India bounced back from the 1-4 defeat on Tuesday with a 1-0 win over Germany in the FIH Pro League at the Kalinga Stadium on Wednesday.
Gurjant Singh scored the only goal of the match in the opening minute from a rebound before India’s resolute defence shut out the Germans.
With the victory, India moved to seventh in the standings ahead of Australia after four matches.
