The FIH World Cup 2026 will be played in the Netherlands and Belgium from August 15 to 30.
Once again, co-host Netherlands and Germany are among the top contenders to clinch the titles across the men’s and women’s competitions.
The Netherlands’ women’s team is one of the most successful teams, having won the World Cup a record nine times and the Olympics gold five times.
Across men’s hockey, six teams, including India, have won the World Cup title and the Olympics gold. In women’s hockey, only the Netherlands and Australia have achieved this feat.
